Additional data have been received from twenty-three hospitals participating in the multi-center study to assess the efficacy and safety of the antimicrobial combination, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (TMP-SMZ). All studies were carried out according to the protocol set forth in the earlier paper by Gleckman.*
