Kinematics of the Spine

The different methods of measuring spinal mobility are initially recalled. The global and segmental amplitudes of each spinal segment are then described according to the work of many authors. These amplitudes are described in the context of aging. Finally, the movements of the column are described in different situations of daily living: note that a small proportion of movements is involved in these daily movements.
