Disseminating Research Information to Multiple Stakeholders Lessons From the Experience of the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research

1992
The U.S. Department of Education is considering the development of a uniform dissemination system for its component bureaus. The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), although a part of the Department, is more closely tied to medical research and less involved with the traditional state and local education audiences of the other parts of the department. This article describes lessons learned by NIDRR in its various dissemination activities that might be useful to an overall system.
