Device and method for forming tearing lines of air bag cover plate

The invention provides a device and method for forming tearing lines of an air bag cover plate. A whole tool is easy to manufacture, a special device is not needed, injection moulding dies are simple in structure and low in manufacturing cost, and the appearance of products is good. The device for forming the tearing lines of the air bag cover plate is composed of a cutter fixing plate assembly, a forming cutter, an ejection device and a mould. When the tearing lines of the air bag cover plate are formed, the mould is fixed on a working table of punching equipment, the air bag cover plate to be machined is placed on the mould, the cutter fixing plate assembly, the forming cutter and the ejection device which are connected together are connected to a punch of the punching equipment, when the forming cutter is heated to a preset temperature, the punching equipment is started, the cutter fixing plate assembly, the forming cutter and the ejection device are moved downwards, the ejection device compresses the air bag cover plate, the forming cutter forms the tearing lines on the air bag cover plate, and preset thickness is obtained.
