An encoder is installed on a winch. When a roller in the winch rotates by a circle, the encoder can output a plurality of impulse records. A central controller indicates the height of a top drive in a well frame according to the impulse values recorded by the encoder. The position of the top drive hanging ring and the height of the top drive are processed and compared in the central controller, and anticollision of racking platform positions are achieved.
