Bi-variant LFP method for Rayleigh distributed TSDS analysis of aeroengine combustion cylinder

2012
In this research, a stress-strength interference model is developed based on bi-variant Lagrange factor polynomial approach. The first discrete random variable is the independent stress. Thermal stress-dependent strength is represented by the second discrete random variable that has different conditional probability mean functions depending on different stress amplitudes. Then the approach is used to generate the bi-variant stress-strength interference model. In this model the thermal strength probability mean function is Rayleigh distributed, while the thermal stress probability mean function is Normal distributed. Accuracy of this method is investigated by specific aeroengine combustion cylinder.
