Therapeutic Effect of Jiarong Tablet on Burning Mouth Syndrome of Climacteric Female and Its Influence on the Level of Serum Gonadal Hormone

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of Jiarong tablet on burning mouth syndrome(BMS)of climacteric female and its influence on the level of serum gonadal hormone.Methods:Sixty cases of BMS of climacteric female were randomly divided into Jiarong tablet group(n=30)and blank group(n=30).To compare the therapeutic effect by pain rating and detect the level of serum androgenic hormone.Results:The pain index of every group decreased after treatment(P﹤0.01).There was significant difference in Jiarong tablet group compared with that in blank group(P0.01).The total effective rates were 90%in Jiarong tablet group and 26.67%in blank group.The level of serum androgenic hormone was decreased obviously in Jiarong tablet group after two courses(P﹤0.01).Conclusion:The therapeutic effect of Jiarong tablet on BMS was good.Jiarong tablet may decrease the level of serum androgenic hormone,which may be one of its mechanisms on BMS of climacteric female.
