A three-dimensional enhanced imaging method based on deconvolution

2017
In order to recognize human target in three-dimensional (3D) space, we can use ultra-wideband(UWB) radar to get the parameters of distance, position and high in 3D imaging of human target. Because of the diffraction of antenna and the influence on imaging system about bandwidth of the radar receiver, the correlation between target signal and original signal reduces. The information on waveform is extended by the width of target, these lead to a lower resolution of human imaging. In this paper, the original 3D image of human model is obtained by echo signal based on finite-difference time-domain (FDTD). We focus on radar enhanced imaging method and use deconvolution to increase the azimuth resolution of human target. The effect of different deconvolution approaches is discussed.
