Demonstration of first order gratings in titanium diffused waveguides on lithium niobate

We demonstrate a first order low loss waveguide grating based on titanium diffused lithium niobate (LiNbO/sub 3/) waveguides. Reflectivity greater than 80% is achieved with a null-to-null bandwidth of 20 GHz.
