Development of human resource is essential for any organization that would to be dynamic and growth oriented. On like other resources human resources have rather unlimited potential capabilities the potential can be used only by creating practices that can continuously identify bring to surface nature and use the capabilities of people human resource Development system creating such a practices.There is an increasing recognition that employees can and should learn continuously, and that they can learn from on-the-job experiences, from each other, and from short, readily available online tutorial modules as well as from more formally structured learning opportunities. Hence this study focuses on the different HRD Practices adopted in various Multispecialty hospitals of Madurai.Concept of Human Resource Development practices. Human Resource Development practices will influence the level of moral and attitude which member of the organization bring to bear on their performance, and personal relationship human Resource development practices is the manifestation of the attitude of organization members towards it.Statement of ProblemHospitals as health care organizations are involved in providing preventive, curative and rehabilitative service. They are an integral part of the medical and social structure. The hospital utilizes wisely divergent group of professional's semiprofessional and a professional, it represents high interdependence among services. A hospitals success is largely dependent on the quantity of work of its employees. The HR role is the most crucial in a hospital as it is more people oriented. However, HR as a function is being appreciated and initiated in the hospital respective only recently. Since this study covers most of the HR practices. The researcher has undertaken this study to analyses how for the employee working practices in hospital are understood and to know their interest. The hospitals need not only modern machinery but also modem and informative talented human resources because it deals with the life of the human beings. They have to provide zero defective services to their patients and it is the need of the hour.Object of the studyTo Assess the HRD Practices Prevailing Among Multispecialty Hospitals In Madurai.To examine the impact of the Practices on the relationship between the top management and employees.MethodologyThe validity of any research depends on the systematic method of collecting data and analyzing the same in a sequential order. In the study there is an extensive use of both primary and secondary data. For collecting primary data, field survey technique was employed in the study area first hand information pertaining prevailing practices for HRD in this area were collected from two hundred and fifty (250) sample respondents. In order to fulfil the objectives a sample study was undertaken by using a well framed questionnaire that was duty filled by the respondents .The respondents were selected from varying background based on the important aspects of their designation, age, sex, income. The tools used for analysis are F-test, and chi-square test.Employee AnalysisFrom the analysis, it is inferred that the majority 37% respondents are in the age group of above 35 years and only 12% of respondents are in the age group of 31 to 35 years. Majority 40% respondents are getting salary between Rs.5000 - 10000 and only 8% of respondents are getting salary between Rs. 20001 - 25000. The dominant level of education among the medical staff is under-graduation and professional which constitutes 24.88 and 23.98 per cent to its total respectively.
