The invention discloses an efficient wireless electricity transmission system with adjustable power in a large range and a control method. The system comprises a direct-current power supply, a high-frequency inverter, an mutual inductance coupling magnetic circuit mechanism, primary side and secondary side reactive compensation mechanisms, a variable load and a power adjusting servo control mechanism. The system is characterized in that a primary side magnetic energy emitting coil is composed of two identical solenoid coils, a secondary side magnetic energy picking coil is located in the center between the two solenoid coils and can revolve around a horizontal axis of the secondary side magnetic energy picking coil in a space, and the secondary side magnetic energy picking coil is connected with the load through the power adjusting servo control mechanism. The system and the control method have the advantages that the rotation angle of the secondary side magnetic energy picking coil can be adjusted through the power adjusting servo control mechanism, and accordingly flexible and adjustable output power and high system efficiency can be achieved in the large range, system loss is reduced, and the system is simple in structure and convenient to control.
