RADIOACTIVE CARRIER-FREE BISMUTH IN n-BUTYL ALCOHOL
1962
An analysis of carrier-free Bi/sup 210/ in n-butyl alcohol at various hydrogen chloride concentrations revealed a relation between the collodial, molecular, and ion forms of radioactive bismuth and the acidity. The bismuth was extracted from water by n-butyl alcohol as an acid complex with negatively charged colloids. (R.V.J.)
