Disastrous Events in Phanerozoic History of the Earth and the Sun Motion in the Galaxy

Analysis of a correlation in chronology of some global intermittent disastrous events (mass extinctions of marine fauna, impacts) and geomagnetic reversals frequency in Phanerozoic history of the Earth and the solar system motion in the Galaxy is carried out. We found the recurrence step of 13 from 16 Phanerozoic extinctions equal to 183±3 Myr that corresponds to the anomalistic period (the time interval between two successive passages of the solar galactocentric orbit apocentre). The intensity of mass extinctions and energy output at impacts are systematically greater when the Sun moves from apocenter to pericenter than vice versa. A systematic decreasing of organic carbon content in total mass of carbon hidden in deposits is observed between the epochs of most extensive mass extinctions. Thus, one can say something about various connections between repeated global events in Phanerozoic history and the solar motion in the Galaxy.
