Method of modifying calling number display and device utilizing same

The present invention discloses a method of modifying calling number display and a device utilizing the same. The method comprises: modifying a contact list of a second terminal by receiving an input real number and number or name of a first terminal and wishing to be displayed, to store the real number of the first terminal in the contact list of the second terminal and store the number or name wishing to be displayed as a corresponding contact name in the contact list; and when calling the number of the second terminal using the first terminal, displaying, according to the contact list, the number or name wishing to be displayed on the second terminal.
