Los argumentos dialécticos de Eubúlides de Mileto: el Mentiroso, el Sorites, el Velado y el Cornudo

espanolEn este trabajo examinare las paradojas dialecticas vinculadas a Eubulides de Mileto: el Mentiroso, el Sorites, el Velado y el Cornudo. La hipotesis que me guiara sera que estos argumentos deben ser contextualizados en el marco de las tesis negativas de la filosofia megarica respecto de las capacidades del lenguaje para expresar lo real y la dialectica eristica en tanto practica discursiva sustentada sobre dicha base teorica. Esta modalidad argumentativa buscaba desarrollar razonamientos refutativos que pusieran de relieve fenomenos linguisticos problematicos donde tal inadecuacion del lenguaje fuera manifiesta, como la autorreferencia en el caso del Mentiroso, la vaguedad en el Sorites, la opacidad referencial en el Velado y la pregunta compleja en el Cornudo. EnglishIn this paper I will examine the dialectical paradoxes linked to Eubulides of Miletus: the Liar, the Sorites, the Hooded Man and the Horned Man. My hypothesis will be that these arguments must be contextualized within the negative theses of the megaric philosophy with respect to the capacities of the language to express the reality and the eristic dialectic as the discursive practice based on such theoretical basis. This argumentative modality sought to construct refutative reasonings that highlights problematic linguistic phenomena where such inadequacy of language was evident, like self-reference in the Liar, vagueness in the Sorites, referential opacity in the Hooded man and the complex question in the Horned man.
