The Application of a New Type of Neutral Grounding Mode in Medium Voltage System

The paper put forward a new type of grounding mode that is to be applied in the medium voltage system of large copper smelters,i.e.the arc-extinguishing overvoltage protection grounding system combined with the special selecting line technology.It has high accuracy of line selection and can effectively restrict the arc grounding overvoltage and improve the reliability and continuity of enterprise's power supply systems.The paper also introduced the structure,operating philosophy and application of the system as well as precautions in application of the system.
