SYNTHESIS AND SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC STUDY OF TETRAPHENYLPORPHYRINE

Lucrarea de faţă prezintă sinteza tetrafenilporfirinei (TPP) printr-o variantă originală a metodei clasice constând in reacţia dintre pirol si benzaldehida in prezenţa acizilor organici. TPP a fost caracterizată spectral prin UV-vis, IR si fluorescenta. The present paper describes the synthesis of tetraphenylporphyrine (TPP) through an original variation of the classic method, consisting in reaction between pyrrole and benzaldehyde in the presence of organic acids. TPP was sprectrally characterised through UV-vis, IR and fluorescence.
