Improvement on the radiometric temperature measurement in small laser-processing region

2006
During temperature measurement with radiometric pyrometer, many factors will make thedistribution of experimentally measured temperature lower than practical temperature. A new method toestate practical temperature is proposed in the paper. This method is based on the modification ofchanging the original detector into a single mode(SM)fiber pigtailed detector to reduce receivingsurface , changing the original lens into an infrared an-aberration lens and finally derives the practicaltemperature with the help of Lucy-Richardson algorithm usually used for image reconstruction. The firstfour procedures effectively enhance temperature distribution details and the full width half maximum ofthe small object’s temperature distribution is 21μm, which is lower than the full width half maximummeasured before. According to the last procedure - Lucy-Richardson algorithm, more accuratetemperature measurement can be accomplished by performing deconvolution with the point spreadfunction. The highest temperature after restoration is 100℃higher than that before restoration.Experimental results show that this method is feasible.
