Introduction: The purpose of this study was to predict the success of participated countries at the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games by demo-economic factors. Method: The present study was causal - comparative and applied. The statistical population consisted of 204 participant countries at the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games (not previously analyzed). The statistical sample was 86 winner countries in these games. The data were collected from different English sources and valid websites: World Bank and International Olympic Games .K-S, One way ANOVA and stepwise multiple regression tests utilized. K-S test determined data normality (P< 0.05). Results: The results showed a significant relationship between the success of countries at the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games and all demo-economic (Population, GDP, Health Expense, Team size, Ex-host) factors. The results of stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that among demo-economic factors , team size and population were able to significantly predict the success of countries at the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games (R 2 =0/83 , P<0.0001). Conclusion: According to results, the growth of population and obtaining more Olympic quota will bring more success (medals) for each participant country in the Summer Olympic Games.
