Study on the Turf Quality of Two Species of Arachis

Growth period,greening period,cutting survival rate,coverage,leaf-flower ratio and growthspeed of Arachis were studied in this paper.The results showed that Arachis had the advantage of speedy establishment,long greening period,long florescence and good aesthetic characteristic.It could be used as an excellent turf grass.Compared with Arachis pintoi cv,Arachis duranensis was better in coverage,leaf-flower ratio,growth speed,leaf area and contents of chlorophyll.The results showed that Arachis duranensis was better than Arachis pintoi cv in turf quality.
