An exhaust gas recirculation valve comprising: a housing constituting a portion of the exhaust passage, which houses a valve housing means therethrough for controlling exhaust gas flow; a stationary cylinder disposed within the housing; arrangement of a in the fixed cylinder consisting of at least one movable cylinder activity cylinder assembly; movably arranged piston means for controlling the opening degree of the valve within the movable cylinder assembly; and means for, respectively, the pressure in the movable cylinder and the piston by the pressure so that they each effect a predetermined stroke of the apparatus. Exhaust gas recirculation valve can reliably provide the desired degree of opening, and insensitive to changes in air pressure by the pressure means is applied.
