Method and system for inspecting driving vehicles

The invention relates to a method and a system for inspecting driving vehicles. The method comprises steps of identifying a first license plate number of a vehicle through an ANPR camera, storing the license plate number into a first information pool for a timeTP, reading a second license plate number recorded in vehicle information of a vehicle OBU through a DSRC device, storing the second license plate number into a second information pool for a time TM, performing matching detection on the first license plate number and the vehicle information, if succeeds, performing marking, and performing inspection on the vehicle information which is marked as successful matching. The method and the system for inspecting driving vehicles can perform license plate number identification and vehicle information collection on driving vehicles on the road, perform matching detection on the license plate information and vehicle information, and finishethe traffic inspection.
