Expansion of the band of operating frequencies for antenna radiators using impedance-matched materials

A technique is proposed for using impedance- matched materials to expand the operating frequency of existing antenna radiators. The results of numerical electromagnetic modeling and experimental investigation of a waveguide slit radiator, whose operating frequency was expanding.
