This module first aims to provide high-level recommendations for implementers ranging from decision-makers in government to app developers to humanitarian responders, on reasons why app-uptake may vary across contexts and how risks versus benefits should be considered in efforts to enhance uptake. Second, this module aims to identify areas of future research that are worth pursuing to gain more understanding of the risks and benefits towards users. Recommendations are provided through five main challenges identified in the research which are linked to user-uptake.
