Cancer and Related Lesions of the Vulva

1981
This book is a thorough review of the subject of carcinoma of the vulva. This volume could be used as a primer for the gynecologist. For the dermatologist, the illustrations are of good quality. However, toward the end of the text, the stress is primarily placed on surgical procedures. Even so, this provides useful information for the dermatologist who is attempting to explain to a patient the type of operation she requires. Some of the cutaneous descriptions are not as complete as they could be, but the quality of the illustrations makes up for this deficit. The literary style of the author is dry and tedious, but the content is complete. This is a good book to have in one's reference library.
