Radiation effects in bulk samples of high T/sub c/ superconductors

High-temperature superconductors, YBa/sub 2/Cu/sub 3/O/sub 6+delta/ and GdBa/sub 2/Cu/sub 3/O/sub 6+delta/, both with deltaless than or equal to1, and with Tcapprox.92k, were irradiated with 67.5 MeV electrons at fluences of 10/sup 13/, 10/sup 14/, 10/sup 15/ and 5x10/sup 15/ electrons/cm/sup 2/. After each irradiation, the resistance versus temperature curves were measured using the four-probe resistance technique. Only negligible changes in the superconducting transition temperature were seen.
