Resumen El analisis de documentos contemporaneos sobre politica educativa internacional para la educacion superior, permite plantear un reclamo: vitalizar las funciones sustantivas de toda universidad. Una lectura en clave pedagogica (educativa, didactica, curricular) de este reclamo, evoca variadas interpretaciones, a la vez que diferentes formas de proceder. En esta direccion, el trabajo aborda algunos asuntos academico tales como: la integracion y flexibilidad curricular, la preparacion adecuada del claustro para la asuncion de la tarea educativa, el dilema de la globalizacion academica y el debate entre disciplina o competencias en el curriculo. Abstract The analysis of contemporary documents about international educational policy for higher education, allows to state a claim: to invigorate every university´s substantive functions. A read out in pedagogical key (educational and curricular) of such claim, brings to mind different interpretations, and different ways of acting, too. In that direction, the work discusses some academic topics, such as: the curricular integration and flexibility, the adequate preparation of the faculty for the educational role, the dilemma of academic globalization, and the debate among discipline and competences in the curriculum.
