Romance geoprosody: advances, studies and tools

This special issue of Dialectologia is a selection of papers presented at the Coloquio Internacional de Geoprosodia do Portugues e do Galego, which took place at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, 2015.2 This scientific meeting brought together researchers from the fields of linguistic geography and dialectology, especially with regard to the prosody of Romance languages. The main objective of this volume is to disseminate the results obtained in these areas.
