Fringe subdivision scheme for digital interferometric fiber optic sensors based on CPLD

The sequential control is an important link for the realization of fringe subdivision of digital fiber optic sensors, which is related to the phase synchronization of the output sampling pulses from different channels and their precisions. The elements of fringe subdivision are briefly analyzed, and a signal processing scheme based on CPLD is designed by using VHDL language to control time sequences to acquire periodical sampling pulses. The design is simpler, more reliable, easier to upgrade and worth popularizing.
