STUDY ON LAND UTILIZATION STRUCTURE AND ITS OPTIMIZATION IN RUGAO CITY

According to statistical data of land utilization change and calculation results of land utilization dynamic degree during 1998 to 2004 in Rugao city,Jiangsu province,the land utilization in general displays a trend that land area is decreased in plowland,garden,unused land and water conservancy and increased in settlement and constructions.This paper establishes a land utilization optimization structural model in Rugao city and attains land utilization results in 2010 and 2020,providing an approach to "the 11th Five-Year Plan" land utilization planning and its sustainable development in Rugao city.
