Nuestra experiencia con la laparoscopia operatoria de los anejos uterinos en dos hospitales comarcales

2002
Summary We have reviewed our initial experience with surgical laparoscopy, following it introduction in two general hospitals: Motril Hospital (Granada) and Po-niente Hospital (Almeria). We describe our criteria and the diverse surgical techniques used; average operation time, average hospital stay, and intra or postoperative complications Surgical laparoscopy is the first option for the majority of adnexal cystic masses, allowing early hospital discharge and minimal mortality for the patient. However, it requires a suitable period of training, with regard to its limitations, and above all to underline its limited, but potencially serious complications
