Porcelain crown reuse in the restoration after fracture at the base tooth

Objective To research the clinical application of reuse in the upper anterior original porcelain crown after fracture at base tooth which repair with fiber post.Methods Forty-five upper anterior teeth from 45 cases of patients,the use of fiber post restore upper anterior porcelain crown after fracture at base tooth.To allow re-use original porcelain crown.Results Forty-five restored teeth 6 to 18 months after the review,the success rate of 100%.Two years after the review,the success rate of 95.6%.And no phenomenon happened of gum discoloration,root fracture,the post fracture and so on.Conclusion The reuse in original porcelain crown after fracture at base tooth is a good method which repairs with fiber post.
