Levels of Ion-Implanted Deuterium Retention in Zr And in The Two-Layer Zr-Pd System
2008
Measurements on the maximum level of the deuterium retention in zirconium and in the two-layer Pd-Zr system during D + 2 ion implantation at temperatures 110 and 300 K were carried out using the nuclear reaction method. The measurement data show that the presence of a Pd film on Zr decreases the level of maximum deuterium concentration in Zr.
