The Relationship Some of Risk Factors and The Incidences of Breast Cancer In Bandung Al-Ihsan Hospitals In March-May 2016

Breast cancer is the highest cancer in women that can cause death. Genetic factors, hormones, and environment have their own role as the etiologies that can cause breast cancer. The aim of this research is to find out the relationship between some of the risk factors and the incidences of  breast cancer.The methode of the research is analytic observational with the approach of hospital based control study retrospectively. The samples of the case group are the women who suffer breast cancer (n=43) in Oncology Policlinic, and the samples of the control group are women who do not suffer breast cancer (n=43) in Outpatient Policlinic of Al Ihsan Hospital Bandung. Both of them are taken by consecutive admission. The instrument that is used for the research is a questionaire. The data then is analyzed univariably and bivariably.The result of the research shows that the case group has about 25,6% women who have a history of having breast benign tumor, 72,1% women who get menopause, and 58,1% women who are ≤50 years old that already get the menopause. The result from the statistic shows that there is a relationship between the history of having breast benign tumor (p=0,041), menopause status (p<0,001), and the age of menopause (p<0,001). The characteristics which are based on menarche, the age of giving birth for the first time,  breastfeeding, using oral contraception and the period of using it, do not have a significant relationship.The conclusion for this research is that there is a significant relationship between the history of breast benign tumor, menopause status, the age of menopause, and the incidences of breast cancer in Al Ihsan Hospital Bandung.
