Innovación en las instituciones prestadoras de servicios de salud: estrategia administrativa

Nowadays, innovation has thrived and it is recognized in   the business world as an engine for competitiveness and   sustained growth. However, in the Colombian health sector,   specifically in Health Care Institutions (HCI) placed at the   department of Atlantico, failures can be evidenced regarding   the incorporation of innovation management processes.   The current study is based on a descriptive methodology,   whose primary information acquisition technique applied the   gathering of expert opinions by means of the Delphi method,   and whose quantitative information gathering technique was   focused in a closed-question survey targeted to the mentioned   HCI; this process was supported by theoretical compilation   and microanalysis of indexed articles related to the   topic. The study yields a series of findings that point out the   importance of innovation in order to, finally, expose various   recommendations directed to the effective management of   this strategy
