Case Retrieval Phase of Case-Based Reasoning Technique for Medical Diagnosis

In the field of medical sciences the technique of case based reasoning (CBR) offers a basis of computer aided decision support applications which ensure the accuracy of decisions during diagnosis and treatment phases of patient care. Physicians employ CBR technique to solve the new case by retrieving the preceding similar cases that are stored into the case repository. Aim of this paper is to work on case retrieval phase of the CBR technique which is applied on Breast Cancer data sets from UCI Machine Learning Repository. Results will be generated using myCBR tool.
