Preparation of CoPt_3 nanoparticles and improvements of their magnetic property

CoPt3 nanoparticles were synthesized by a wet-chemical-reduction process,and the influence of Ag on their magnetic property was investigated.Structure studies show that the as-synthesized nanoparticles adopt a face-centered-cubic(fcc) crystalline structure with an average particles size of 2.6 nm.SQUID studies reveal that the coercivity value of the particles increases from 78.4 kA/m to 240 kA/m due to the addition of Ag.
