On the dynamic behavior of 180° domain structure and magnetic losses in Fe-3% Si single crystals in rotating magnetic fields

2001
The displacement of 180° domain walls of the stripe domain structure was studied in separate cycles of magnetization reversal of single-crystal samples of Fe-3% Si at moderate inductions (B < 1.3 T) in a rotating (50 Hz) magnetic field. The character of changes in the position of domain walls on the sample surface was revealed and the velocities of their displacement at various inductions were determined. The data on the velocities of domain wall motion are used to discuss the magnetic loss changes of the single crystals depending on the induction.
