Study of various types cladding and the evolvement of the techniques through years and the future scope – A review

Abstract In this study the various types of cladding and the various advantages of using different materials. Today there are many different methods for cladding, but every type has its own advantage. Cladding has evolved from various industrial applications and over a decade there are many improvements in the field. Laser cladding is the advanced method of cladding which is the additive method of clad, and it is found to be economical and efficient method of cladding. To improve the life of the clad, high intensity laser beam is used to fuse the substrate with the metal in melting process.
