Spherical polarimetry on the three-axis spectrometer IN22

Abstract The existence at the ILL of three-axis spectrometers (TAS) offering high flux of polarized neutrons in the thermal range (“CRG” IN22 and IN20B) has open a new field of investigation of magnetic and lattice excitation spectra. In this paper, we will show recent technical developments concerning the installation and the optimization of the spherical neutron polarization analysis on TAS IN22.
