非小细胞肺癌中Notch1、HIF-1、VEGF蛋白及Notch1 mRNA的表达及意义

2008
Purpose To determine the expression of Notch1, HIF-1, VEGF and Notch1 mRNA in human non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and their clinical pathological significance. Methods Immunohistochemucal SP method and in situ hybridization were used to detect the expression of Notch1, HIF-1, VEGF and Notch1 mRNA in 65 cases of NSCLC 15 lung normal epithelial tissues, and the relationship between them and clinic-pathological parameters were analyzed. Results The positive rates of Notch1, HIF-1, VEGF and Notch1 mRNA in NSCLC were 81.5%, 96.9%, 93.8% and 73.8% respectively, higher than that in normal lung epithelial tissues (P<0.05). Their positive expression levels were associated with tumor stage and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). The expression of Notch1, HIF-1, VEGF proteins was positively correlated each other (P<0.05), and so did the expression of Notch1 protein and its mRNA. Conclusions The enhanced expression of Notch1, HIF-1, VEGF proteins and Notch1 mRNA in NSCLC, suggesthing that they may play important roles in the pathway of carcinogenesis and progression, which may serve as important factors in invasion and metastasis of NSCLC.
