NOTAS SOBRE A EXPANSÃO DA TEORIA DA ATIVIDADE NA EDUCAÇÃO EM CIÊNCIAS NO BRASIL

We present some notes about the expansion of Activity Theory in the field of Science Education in Brazil. There has been a growing interest in this perspective, but some authors have emphasized that the potential of Activity Theory for Science Education has not yet been harnessed. Thus, we seek to understand how the expansion of Activity Theory develops in the field of Science Education, and, positioning ourselves within Activity Theory, we aim at contributing to the analysis of some limitations that arise in its appropriation by Science Education. We point out that overcoming these limitations , which appear in the form of dualism (internal and external, biological and cultural, and epistemology and ontology), will allow to expand the discussion about the relationship between Science Education and human development.
