Advances in study and practice of brackish water irrigation in China

Using brackish water for irrigation is one of the important measures to deal with the shortage of water resources.In the aspects of brackish water irrigation,a large amount of studies and practices have been made along with a lot of successful experiences in China.The modes and key technologies as well as the advantages of the irrigation with brackish water in China are summarized herein,furthermore,the problems existed in the irrigation and the key points to be strengthened in the days to come are discussed as well.
