Preparation and Quality Control of Compound Cream of Adenosine Cyclophosphate

OBJECTIVE: To prepare Compound Cream of Adenosine Cyclophosphate and to establish a method for its quality control. METHODS: Compound Cream of Adenosine Cyclophosphate was prepared with adenosine cyclophosphate, tretinoin,urea, dimethyl sulfoxide, etc as raw materials; the chief ingredient-urea was determined by ultraviolet spectrophotometry and the stability and the stimulation of this preparation were also determined. RESULTS: The preparation was proved to be well-spread. The linear range of this cream was 36～84μg·mL-1(r=0.999 7) and its average recovery was 100.50%(RSD=0.62%). There were no marked change in indexes of this preparation within 6 months of storage, and there were no differences in stimulation between this cream and the blank base material. CONCLUSION: The formulation is simple in preparation technique, and can meet the quality standards for medicinal cream.
