Pattern Formation during Arabidopsis Embryo Development

1993
A developing organism is a growing population of cells that, at one stage or another, exchange information about their relative positions. Although cell communication appears to play an important role in generating the body organization, it is hard to define the components involved as well as their interactions. This is especially true of pattern formation in the developing plant embryo which produces the primary body organization as represented by the seedling.
