Speech and Social Network Analysis in the Study of On-line Cooperative Learning in University Forums

The research reported in this article is the re- sult of an innovative teaching project carried out on the virtual campus of the University of Huelva involving the third-year students on practicum in the Social Educa- tion Diploma course. The collaborative learning processes within an asynchronic context of curricular practicals are examined by analysing speech and the depth and breadth of the social networks that emerged. This interpretation enables us to conceive future re- search and experiences to shape quality indicators for these learning methods.
