Photon cross sections for ENDF/B-VI

The PHOTX library of the National Institute of Standards and Technology will be used as the basis of File 23 (photon cross sections) for ENDF/B-VI. The PHOTX library is based on an experimental data base consisting of 21,000 data points from 512 literature sources for 82 elements. An important difference from earlier compilations is that renormalization of photo-effect cross sections is not performed. 40 refs., 12 figs.
