Analysis to Affect Energy Consumption Effect of Steel Rolling Process and Energy Saving Measures

Heating temperature has a major impact on overall energy consumption of the steel rolling process.Based on measuring and accounting of steel rolling process energy consumption,fuel consumption per ton of steel,power consumption per ton of steel and burning loss per ton of steel in different heating temperatures were counted and analyzed.The process energy consumption was calculated under different heating temperatures.The results show that reducing the billet heating temperature can effectively reduce the rolling process energy consumption while rolling equipment,product quality and power supply are allowed.
