Application of NC System Based on ARM+DSP Structure on the Bending Machine

In order to realize the formation of the bent steel efficiently,a bending machine NC system based on ARM+DSP was developed.The main function of ARM processor was the user interface display and a lot of real-time calculations were processed in the DSP processor.EVC was adopted to develop the numerical control system software based on Windows CE embedded operating system.Springback angle was compensated using the database integrated in the bending machine NC system to improve the machining accuracy of bent steel forming.Due to double-processor structure and 32bit WinCE operating system,the bending machine NC system satisfies the requirements of machining and has the characteristics of friendly UI,easy operation,low power consumption and good expandability.
