PRIDE: an integrated architecture and toolset for industrial model-based diagnosis

1998
PRIDE is a European collaborative project that is developing an integrated architecture and toolset for model-based diagnostic applications in the process industries. The toolset currently comprises three mature model-based diagnostic tools that are being integrated into a common framework. This framework provides a common protocol and modelling interface which allows models to be reused and tool functionalities to be combined according to a specified 'diagnostic recipe'. Central to the project are two significant industrial applications: a fertiliser plant in Glomfjord, Norway; and a free fatty acid neutralisation plant in the Netherlands.
